Music lessons are a truly invaluable resource for individuals looking to nurture their musical capabilities and skills. Through the guidance and feedback provided by experienced instructors, students are able to explore various musical styles and broaden their horizons. Moreover, these lessons impart a sense of discipline, fostering a diligent approach to practicing and honing one's craft.

Whether an aspiring professional musician or someone who simply enjoys playing an instrument, music lessons have the power to transform your musical journey. I understand the frustrations and challenges that can arise when instructors lack teaching skills, and I am committed to tailoring my lessons to your specific goals. Whether you want to master intricate guitar techniques, explore the art of songwriting, or simply play for the sheer joy of it, I am dedicated to helping you succeed.

About me

Sean Selinske

I’m a musician from the North Jersey/Tri-state area, and I’ve been playing and studying music for over 15 years. As I kept teaching and taking lessons myself, I realized there’s no shortage of amazing musicians out there, but when it came to teachers and music, there is a dire shortage of people who not only know the most effective way of teaching this stuff, but who are also dedicated to their student’s goals.

That’s why I started Stringtree Music, to provide great and intuitive music lessons that help you reach your own goals. Whether you’re just starting out, or you’re a serious student trying to hone your skills, becoming a musician doesn’t have to be a mysterious, confusing, or frustrating process. I’ll use the songs you love to help you become the best musician you can be because at the end of the day, playing music should be fun!

  • "The best thing I can tell you about Sean as a teacher is he makes you feel like you want to keep going. We all hit those inevitable points when we are stuck in a rut or feel like this just isn't for me. Sean has a great way of lifting up your accomplishments and making lessons fun enough that you want to do it."
